Located just 120 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia, and in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Greenville is a beautiful thriving city. Greenville has experienced an immense amount of growth over the past decade. Locals enjoy supporting their minor league baseball team, the “Greenville Drive,” named after the BMW factory which is located there. Two colleges also attract visitors to “the Upstate,” Furman University and Bob Jones University. Both Universities are private and competitive to attend.
In 2003 Greenville was awarded the Great American Main Street Award by the National Trust for Historic Preservation for its revitalization of its downtown area. Revamping the area which is now called the WestEnd, remodeling Falls Park with the addition of the cable suspension bridge caught developers’ eye. In result over the past five years there has been a boom in new luxury condominiums and hotels.
